This series was created in Winter 2017 as an abstraction of paper in a photo studio. The project was completed with a word association pair in mind; the words I used were sharp and power. The images have a wide range of value
which gives them a metallic feel, which gives the illusion that the objects are not in fact made of paper. The strong curves, highlights, shadows, and mid-tones in the photographs are what make the connection between sharp and power, and gives them depth.
